Spyros Tsopels, 93, of 1020 N. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning in
Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Private family funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Schneider-Mittnacht
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Father Basile Apostolos of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox
Church, Sheboygan, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Tsopels, was born May 15, 1884, in Greece, son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Konstantine Tsopels. He was president of the Tsopels and Adraktis Firms. He
married Magdeline Theordrou in 1913 in Boston, Mass. She preceded him in death
in 1965. He was a member of Ahpea and St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church,
Sheboygan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Konstantine and Tula Tsopels of
Oak Lawn, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Victoria) Sotos of Evergreen Park, Ill.;
a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Peter and Barbara Sotos and a great grandson,
Christopher Sotos. Two brothers, Nick and Peter, preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 7 to 9 o'clock this
Monday evening where a Trizion will be held at 8 o'clock.
