Anthony (Tony) Trochlell, 80, of Route 1, Valders, died Sunday morning, March 16,
at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 2 p.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitwooc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Trochlell was born Oct. 29 (sic), 1899, at Manitowoc, son of the late Anton
and Anna Zahorik Trochlell. He was graduated from Washington High School with
the Class of 1918 and was a veteran of World War I. June 11, 1924, he married
the former Mildred E. Wagner at Manitowoc. The couple resided in Manitowoc until
1962 when they moved to their Pigeon Lake residence. For 47 years Mr. Trochlell
had been employed with Mirro Corporation, retiring in 1965 as department manager.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, Elks Lodge No. 687,
Isaac Walton League and Pigeon Lake Sportsman's Club and a 50 year member of
American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88.
Survivors include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Luisa Trochlell
of Barberville, Fla., and a son, Robert, of Route 1, Valders; a daughter and
son-in-law, Barbara and Orville Panosh of Manitowoc and six grandchildren. A son,
William, a sister, Emily Krysan, and a brother, Edward Trochlell, preceded him in
death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday
prior to the time of service. A prayer service will be conducted by the Rev.
Reginald Schrimpf at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
