died Friday evening, January 8, 1999, at North Ridge Medical &
Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 1999,
at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic
Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be
the Rev. Matt Simonar, with burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
William was born on April 28, 1906, son of the late Mary Trochil. He
married Viola Zeman, on September 27, 1927, at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, Kellnersville. William was a Crane Operator at Manitowoc
Shipbuilding for 49 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Fish
and Game Association, Operating Engineers Local #504, Western Fraternal
Life Assoc., and Holy Innocents Catholic Church. He was also an active
volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul for many years.
Survivors include his wife Viola Trochil, Manitowoc; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Elaine and Victor Naidl, Sandra and Allen Bialek, both of
Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, LeRoy and Lorraine Trochil,
Manitowoc; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one sister,
Florence Rusboldt, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Rose Skwor, Two Rivers.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, on Sunday evening, from 4
p.m. until 7 p.m. A prayer service will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. led
by Deacon Kenneth Nelesen.
