VIOLA TROCHIL

Viola E. Trochil, age 101, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died on
Monday, April 28, 2008, at St. Mary's Home.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1906, in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter
of the late Frank W. and Mary (Kalista) Zeman. Viola attended Green Street School.
On Sept. 27, 1927, she married William F. Trochil at St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Kellnersville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1999. Viola was a member of the
Catholic Women's Club and Western Fraternal Life Association Lodge 360. She was
also a member of the former Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include; a son and daughter-in-law; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grand-
children; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law; and a sister-
in-law. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. (Names omitted
for privacy). She was preceded in death by a brother: Victor Zeman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at St. Francis
of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be
the Rev. Gerald Foley, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo,
Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, until the time of service at 11
a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the
family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at St.
Mary's Home for their care and compassion shown toward Viola and her family.
