Allen L. Trochil, age 64, of 1427 S 32nd St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, November 2, 2011, at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Allen was born May 27, 1947, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Clarence and Hortense (Radandt) Trochil Sr. He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School and then served in the U.S. Army in Germany from April of 1966 to April of 1969. Allen started his employment at Eastmans, retiring after 33 years from Parker-Hannifin. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling, golfing, fishing and camping.

Survivors include two daughters: Michelle Trochil and Nicole Fulcer, both of Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Zachary, Chelsea, Cameron, Joette, Ansen and Brianna; one sister: Geraldine (James) Jansky, Bradenton, Fla.; one brother: Clarence (Joan) Trochil, De Pere; along with other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 S 8th St., Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ben Schaefer with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post #88 of Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Trochil family with funeral arrangements.
