Mrs. Winnie Tracy, 96, of 719 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday night
at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m., at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Winnie Carle in Manitowoc in 1858, daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Carle. When a young girl she moved to Chicago and she was
married there to Hughie Tracy. On his death in 1898 she returned to
Manitowoc.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Clark of Manitowoc; son, Louis of
Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Emma Griffith of Manitowoc; a grandchild and two
great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
