WILLIAM TOLTZMANN (d. 1943)

William Toltzmann, 74, retired painter who resided at 1518 South 10 street, died
at 12:30 a.m. today at the Holy Family Hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home with the Rev. C.H. Hagen officiating. Interment will be made in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Toltzmann was born June 23, 1868, in the town of Manitowoc and spent almost all
his life in Manitowoc. Prior to taking up the painter's trade he had been a baker.
On June 9, 1894, he married Miss Alvina Wolfort.
Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. H.J. Dorschner and Mrs. Victor Holtz
of this city and Mrs. Marie Sincoular of Two Rivers; four sons, Roy in the army at
Philadelphia, William and Earl of this city, and Frederick at home; one sister, Mrs.
Emma Jens of Milwaukee; and 13 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home until the time of the services.
