Mrs. Elmyra T. Toltzman, age 87, a resident of Park Lawn Home,
Manitowoc, died Sunday, January 30, 1994 at Park Lawn Home. Funeral
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 1994, at Wesley United
Methodist Church. Rev. Philip Kenas will officiate with burial in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born December 5, 1906, in Cleveland, Wis. daughter of the
late Otto and Otilia Walters Schmeisser. She married Karl Kalk, he
preceded her in death in 1983. Later she married William Toltzman
in Manitowoc, in 1968 (sic). He preceded her in death in 1985. For
many years she was employed by Glove Laundry. She was a member of
Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include three children, Eunice (Buddy) Douglas, California,
Marvin (Lorraine) Kalk, Florida, Roger Kalk, Manitowoc; a sister,
Millie Kroenig, Oklahoma; three stepchildren, Eleanore (Roland) Nelson,
Manitowoc, Larry (Dorothy) Toltzman, Manitowoc, Mary Lou (Gene) Gates,
Two Rivers; special friends, Evie and Albert Welch, Manitowoc, also
several grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by two children, four brothers and
one sister.
Friends may call at the church, Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of
service.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with
funeral arrangements.
