Phelps County-Nebraska History 1873-1980 page 524 states that in 1918 Olga Thulin, from Galesburg, Illinois, moved to make her home in Phelps County, Nebraska with the A.J. Vaughn family. She was the only child of A.J.'s oldest sister, Hannah and husband Olof "John" Thulin. Olga was thought of as a member of their family. A.J. Vaughn passed away January 10, 1947.
