Norman A. Thompson, 60, of 1807 Western Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
morning at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders.
The Rev. Robert Onkka will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Thompson was born Aug. 8, 1910, at Quarry, son of the late George and Emma
Snortum Thompson. He married Mable Halverson Aug. 16, 1941, at Valders. The
couple resided in Valders until 1961, coming to Manitowoc. Mr. Thompson was a
member of the Boilermakers Local No. 107 of Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.);
two brothers, Stanley of Conover, Wis., and George of Menasha; three sisters,
Mrs. William Dayton of Conover, Mrs. Selma Reichert of Denver, Colo., and Mrs.
Henry Pleuss of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and four grandchildren. A grandchild and a
brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Thursday until noon Friday and then at the church until the time of service.
