Patricia A. Theis, age 82, of 3100 Peto Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2011, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
She was born on April 20, 1929, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Leo and Hazel (Reinhardt) Nikolai. Pat was a graduate of Marshfield High School, class of 1947. On November 27, 1948, she married Matthew Theis in Marshfield. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2002. Pat and her husband, Matt, managed Village Green West in Two Rivers for over 15 years until their retirements.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Michael & Diane Theis, Florence, WI, Patrick & Gloria Theis, Manitowoc, Julie & Robert Mayer, Shoto, Lisa & Kevin Sommers, Manitowoc, Jennifer & Gregg Rabe, Valders, David & Kim Theis, Manitowoc, Patty Theis, California; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary & Jerome Kirsch, Marshfield; three brothers and four sisters-in-law: Floyd & Polly Nikolai, Dr. Tom & Hilda Nikolai, Don & Penny Nikolai, Dorothy Nikolai, all of Marshfield; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Virgil & Helen Theis, Rosendale; and a special friend: Rita Wyrobeck, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Kristine; a son: Thomas; a brother: Leo Jr.; and a sister and brother-in-law: Nancy & Loren Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Dan Felton with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, until 10:45 a.m.
