| Birth: | Aug. 25, 1901 Clarion County Pennsylvania, USA | | Death: | Jun. 29, 1978 Butler Butler County Pennsylvania, USA |  CURTIS ADRIAN TERWILLIGER SLIGO - Curtis Adrian (Ade) Terwilliger, 76, of Parker RD1, died at 4:20 a.m., Thursday, June 29, in the Butler County Memorial Hospital. Born August 25, 1901, in Perry Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Peter Kline and Mary Annetta Conner Terwilliger. He was married to the former Twila Ethel Saylor in 1972. In 1974, Mr. Terwilliger was married to the former Mary Bell Foust Logue who survives. Mr. Terwilliger was a retired farmer and coal miner. He was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Perry Township. He also belonged to the VFW Post in Parker. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three sons, Peter John Terwilliger of Reading, Daniel Clair Terwilliger of Aliquippa and Carl Adrian Terwilliger of Rochester; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ella Mae) Stephens of Parker RD1; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dilbert (Janet) Garver of Rimersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Pearl) Ellenberger and Mrs. Elmer (Leanetta) Wile, both of Bruin; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandsons; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, two sisters, Doris and Vera, and three brothers, Wayne, Peter, and Campbell. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, in the Hawk Funeral Home here with Rev. Hadley Harper, pastor of the Concord Presbyterian Church, officiating.
