Gerrit (Happy) Terpstra, 72, of 11542 Stewart, died Wednesday, March 16, at Chicago hospital.
Born January 12, 1883 in the Netherlands, he had been a resident of this community for 55 years. He was in the egg business. He was the brother of Cornelius Terpstra, and Mrs. Nellie Koesema.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, at 1:30 p.m. from the Otto Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Hector in charge. Interment was in Chapel Hills Gardens (South).
