Christopher E. Terens, 19, of 903 Rapids Rd., Manitowoc, a member of the U.S.
Navy, died Sunday evening at San Diego, Calif., as the result of an automobile
accident.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Joseph Mattern will officiate with military graveside rites
by the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Terens was born Sept. 9, 1957 at Manitowoc, son of Roger Terens and Donna
Terens. He was educated in Manitowoc area schools and was stationed on the U.S.S.
Anchorage at San Diego.
Survivors include his father, Roger, of Manitowoc and his mother, Donna Terens,
of Green Bay; four brothers, Randolph, at Fort LeJeune, N.C., and Nicholas, Jan
and Daniel, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Kim) Erwin and Miss Julie Terens,
of Green Bay and a step-sister, Miss Rose Terens, at home; paternal grandmother
Mrs. Clara Terens, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene R. Rosinsky,
of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday,
where a prayer service will be at 8:30 p.m.
