Gone is the face we loved so dear
Gone is the voice we loved to hear
God saw you getting so tired,
He put his arms around you,
Whispering Dorothy come with Me.
With tearful eyes we say goodbye,
We could not make you stay.
God broke hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
We have so many reasons to thank you
And so many reasons to love you.
We will always be thinking of you
And you will always be in our memories.
You were not only our mother,
You were our friend.
We will miss you Mom.
