MRS. WM. TECH EXPIRES
Husband and Five Children Left to Mourn Her Demise…
Mrs. Wm. Tech. died this morning at six o'clock at her home on South Fourteenth
street after a week's illness.
The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roeder, and was born at Vogel,
Germany, April 1, 1869, and came to this country with her parents when a small
child. They settled in Manitowoc county and have lived in this county ever since.
She was married in 1875 to Mr. Wm. Tech. Their married life has been a most
happy one. A week ago yesterday a child was born and still lives. The mother
died of blood poisoning.
Mrs. Tech has always been one of the most amiable of women, and her home was
ideal. She was almost idolized by her large circle of acquaintances. A husband
and five children survive to mourn the loss of a most lovable wife and most
motherly mother.
The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the German
Lutheran church.
