Tadych, Kathleen A.

Kathleen A. Tadych, age 78, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Kathy was born on April 6, 1936 in Algoma to the late Ed and Theresa Stehula Koutsky. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1954. On October 4, 1958, Kathy married Clarence D. Tadych at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Clarence preceded her in death on February 17, 2000. Kathy was employed Lapcor Plastics and had later retired from Dayco Eastman in 1995.

She enjoyed spending her time watching sports on TV and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan. Above all, Kathy enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her family and friends.

Survivors include Kathy's two sons: Mike (Judy) Tadych and Mark Tadych, both of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren: Dustin, Ryan, Zachary, Stacie, Crystal and Amy Tadych, and Heather Bajdan; seven great grandchildren: Mallorie, Damien, Mariah, Kobe, Evan, Gavin, and Peyton; twin sister: Marleen Roepke; also other relatives and friends.

A Life Celebration Social will be held for relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. At 7:00 p.m., there will be a time of remembrance and prayer with family and friends led by Deacon Alan Boeldt. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc at a later date.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Kathy's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Binard and the staffs of Aurora Medical Center's ICU and Aurora VNA Hospice.
