Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mrs. Sweet spent most of her life in Elyria. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Chester Seneff of Elyria; two granddaughters, Mrs. patricia Yuhasz of Paris, France, and Mrs. Beverly Sudina of Elyria; two great-grandsons and a brother, William P. Babcock of Sebring, FL.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where the Rev. Woodrow W. McCaleb, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate at the funeral service Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery
