John Sundt, 79, died early today at the farm home on route 5, Manitowoc, in
the town of Manitowoc Rapids. He had been seriously ill since June.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran church the Rev. Theo. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mr. Sundt was born at Newton in 1869 and in 1883 married Miss Christina Osterman.
The following year they located on a farm in Manitowoc Rapids, at the west end
of the Waldo boulevard highway.
Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Emma and Minnie, at home; two sisters,
Mrs. Minnie Muehlenbruch and Mrs. Louisa Wegner, both of this city.
The body will be moved to the farm home tonight from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home.
