Richard R. Suckow, age 59, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 19, 2005, at the center. He was born March 3, 1945, in Manitowoc, son of the late Roland and Rose Mazanet Suckow. Richard attended Holiday House before he became a resident at the Manitowoc Health Care Center. Richard enjoyed music and watching the Packers. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law: John and Sally Suckow, California; two nieces, Carey and Toby Suckow, California; a cousin: Jane Suckow, Manitowoc; and a special relative: Gary Mazanet, Manitowoc. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, until the time of the memorial service at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Joachim Swarick O.F.M. with burial of the cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard's name to the Manitowoc Health Care Center. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
