Mrs. Alice Stines, 69, died at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home,
905 S. 26th street, after an illness of three months.
She was born in this city Dec. 12, 1868 and made her home here all her
life. Her maiden name was Alice Horn. She was married to George Stines 48
years ago. Mr. Steines died about 30 years ago.
One son, Charles, New York city, one brother, Albert Horn of Abbotsford,
Wis., one sister, Mrs. Andrew Erickson, Route 4, and one niece, Mrs. Edward
Aumann, city, survive.
The body is a Vogelsand fuenral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced
Wednesday.

Funeral services were held at the Vogelsang funeral home this afternoon for
Mrs. Alice Stines. The services were conducted by the Rev. Victor T. Nearhoof,
pastor of St. Paul's M.E. church. Burial took place in Evergreen cemetery.
