PIONEER WOMAN OF TISCH MILLS IS LAID TO REST -- "Mrs. Wenzel Stangel, Sr., 74, pioneer resident of Tisch Mills, was buried on Thursday, services being held from the Catholic Church, with the Rev. Shimek officiating.
"Mrs. Stangel's death followed a stroke six weeks ago. She had resided at Tisch Mills for fifty years. Her husband preceded her in death about six years ago and there are surviving two sons, Wenzel and Joseph; one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Kirch, all of whom reside on farms near Tisch Mills; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Roidt of Tisch Mills and Mrs. Jennie Patrichne and one brother, Joseph Vogeltanz of Tisch Mills."
