Lola Faye Adkins, 80, of Bainbridge, died Tuesday, June
10, 2014 at Valley View Alzheimer Care Center, Frankfort.
She was born Jan. 31, 1934 in Paintsville, Ky., the daughter of the late Henry and Belvie Murry Sparks.
On Oct. 26, 1950 she married Estil Adkins, who died July 29, 2004.
She is survived by her five children, several grand and great-grandchildren; a sister of Michigan.
Lola was preceded in death by a son, David Penwell; and several great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
She loved to cook for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge, with the Rev. Brad Harris
officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the Adkins family from noon until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
