Mrs. Henry Smith, 47 years old residing at 12 Columbia avenue died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon after a short illness. News of her death came as a distinct shock to her friends, many of them being unaware that she was ill.
Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Sharon, being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bailey.
She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. Arthur Seem of Flowers avenue, Clyde, Joseph, Mary, Anna and Della. The following brothers and sisters survive: John, William, Joseph and James Bailey, Mrs. Thomas Jones and Mrs. Robert White, all of Sharon and Mrs. P. H. Davis of Suterville.
