William was a constable in Rowan County from 1818 to 1829 and maybe longer. His tombstone is one of the few still standing in Whitaker's Meeting House Church Mocksville, NC. He was the son of Johann Adam Sheek Sr. and Susanna Molder Sheek. His will left his estate to his brothers and sisters.
