Grant Shaw, a Baltimore & Ohio flagman was knocked off a gondola car on the private siding of the Dunbar Fire Brick Company at 9:45 last Saturday night and so badly injured that he died in the hospital at 2:30 Sunday morning.
Shaw was on a car when he was struck by a low chute and knocked off, the wheels passing over him, cutting off both legs.
Shaw was 27 years and was married. His wife and two children survive.
Interment was made in Hill Grove cemetery.
