Graveside services for Mrs. Connie Teat Shaw will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at East View Cemetery.

The Rev. Ron Craddock and the Rev. J. B. Cantrell will officiate.

Mrs. Shaw, 81, of 92 Lock and Dam Road, S. W., died Monday at a Rome hospital.

She was born in Floyd County, June 23, 1908, daughter of the late M. L. Teat and Argie Duke Teat. She has been a lifeling (lifelong) resident of Floyd County where she was a member of the Bush Arbor Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School class.

She had been a member of the Firemen' s Auxiliary. Before retirement, she was employed by Rome Manufacturing Co. as a supervisor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D. V. Shaw, Dec. 21, 1973, to whom she was married in 1930.

Survivors include: a sister, Ila T. Cook, Rome; a brother, Joseph L. Myrick, Rome; nieces and nephews.
