COLLINS – MRS. DAISY M., of Chattanooga, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. A native of Rossville, she had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area and was a member of Pine Hill Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Melissa Lowery Selvidge, her husband, Henry C. Collins, and a daughter, Inez Collins. Survivors include four daughters, Thyra Louise Crawford, Arlington, Texas, Martha Jane Phillips, Frances Elizabeth Quarles and Jessie C. Igou, all of Chattanooga; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Everett Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home.
