Donald Ray “Hit Man” Scroggins, 48, of Georgetown died Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in Austin.

He was born on January 14, 1957, in Georgetown to Albert “Bebe” Parker Sr. and Gladys (Scroggins) Parker.

Donald worked as a custodian for Georgetown Independent School District and also for Parco Builders for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory; one loving Uncle and Aunt Donnell and Audrey Scroggins of Georgetown, and Aunt Rubenia Parker Scroggins of Georgetown; two brothers, Ellis Lee Scroggins and Albert Scroggins Crane; and a dear friend, Florence “Boona” Moore Jr. of Pomona, California. He also is survived by a host of friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Scroggins and Albert “Beebe” Parker Sr.

Pallbearers were Donald Ray Sedwick Sr., Donald Walton, Elza McDonald Jr., Preston Williams, Charlie Rose and James Powell.

Funeral services were Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Johnson Sr. officiating. Burial followed at Citizens Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown with Reverend Jimmy Johnson Sr. officiating.
