Pauline H. Scroggins, 84, of Batesville, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford of heart failure.

Graveside services are today at 11 a.m. at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Batesville. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Scroggins, born on Oct. 25, 1919, to the late Clarence and the late Minnie Bell Hallmark, was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son Sonny Scroggins; five daughters, Mary Scroggins McGregor and Judy Scroggins, both of Batesville, Kathleen Scroggins King of Red Banks, Jessie Scroggins of Oxford, and Peggy Scroggins of Memphis; one sister Mamie Scroggins Bishop of Marks; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 12 great great-grandchildren.
