Mrs. H. C. Schroeder
Mrs. H. C. Schroeder, age 77, passed away at her home in Norborne Saturday morning at 11:40 o'clock. She had been in failing health for the past several months, her condition having grown worse during the past few days.
Caroline Theener was born March 4, 1870 in Breese, Illinois. In 1891 she was united in marriage to Henry Christian Schroeder. To this union five children were born, who with the husband survive. They are: Gus, of Richmond, Chris and Louis, of Lexington, Amil of Carrollton, and Mrs. Anna Henks of Seward, Kansas. She is also survived by three grandchildren, 3 brothers: Ed, Henry and George and two sisters: Mrs. Anna Gronefelt and Mrs Minnie Unewear all of Harrisonville, Mo. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Norborne. Funeral services in her memory were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church in Norborne. Burial followed at Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne.
