Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Bean Sanborn, 60, wife of Royal J. Sanborn, 52 Grove Street will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanborn passed away at her home at 5:45 Tuesday morning. She had been in ill health for the past several years and seriously ill for the last few months.

She was born in Massena November 23, 1886, a daughter of George and Elizabeth Cardinal Bean. She attended local schools and was married to Mr. Sanborn on February 3, 1913. They have since resided in Massena, Mr. Sanborn having been employed at the aluminum plant for over 30 years.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and of the St. Thomas Branch of the LCBA.

Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Edmund (Margaret) Fleming, Mrs. Benjamin (Mabel) Frary, the Misses Catherine, Agnes and Heloise Sanborn, all of Massena; two sons, Bernard R. and Daniel Sanborn, Massena; five grandchildren; one brother, William Bean, Fort Covington.
