Widow of One of First Pastors Dies, St. Paul
Mrs. Lydia Rusterholz, widow of one of the first pastors to serve the First
Reformed church, 1872 to 1874, died at the home of her son, Paul Rusterholz,
at St. Paul, Minn., Sunday and the body will arrive here tomorrow morning for
burial in the family lot at Evergreen. Services will be held at the Reformed
church at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. O. A. Menke officiating.
Mrs. Rusterholz was about seventy-five years old and has made her home at St.
Paul for a number of years. She is survived by the son with whom she made her
home and by two grandchildren, Carl Rusterholz of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Miss
Clara Rusterholz who is attending Milwaukee Downer. She was well known in
this city where she made friendships during her residence and has since often
visited here.
