LLEWELYN RUSSELL
Llewellyn (sic) Russell, 77, of 721 Commercial street, died early today after
a year's illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m. from the Pfeffer funeral home, the
Rev. Victor Nearhoof of the St. Paul's M.E. church officiating. Burial will be
at Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Russell was born in Cascade, Iowa, in 1862 and married Augusta Speigel in
1894. They located in Iowa where Mr. Russell was a painter. They came to this
city 20 years ago.
Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Maberly Newmann of Kansas City,
Grace, at home; son, Artemus, city; brother, Walter, of Iowa; sister, Mrs.
Nellie Cowan, of Dubuque, Iowa.
The body may be viewed at the Pefeffer (sic) funeral home from tonight until
the hour of the funeral.
