Otto W. Rusch, 82, of 928 N. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at
Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will
be in the Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rusch was born June 21, 1888, in the Town of Osborne, Outagamie County, son
of the late August and Albertina Kranke Rusch. Prior to his retirement in 1958,
he had been employed at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co. He married Ester Mielke
Oct. 7, 1914, at Cicero, Ill. The couple came to Manitowoc in 1929.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Earl and Ervin of Two Rivers, and Oliver
of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Caroline) Loos of Broomall, Pa., and Mrs.
Richard (Gladys) Najmayer of Manitowoc; two brothers, Emil of Seymour and Edwin
of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Mueller, of Seymour; 21 grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. A son and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Sunday until noon Monday and then at the church until the time of services.
