LOUIS J. RUGOWSKI

Louis J. Rugowski, 65, of 1712 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at
home following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery Manitowoc.
Mr. Rugowski was born June 26, 1904, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and
Katherine O'Konski Rugowski. He resided at Manitowoc all his life and married
Freida Drida June 26, 1954. Mr. Rugowski, employed as a desk clerk and
maintenance man at the Hotel Howard, had previously been employed at Manitowoc
Shipbuilding Inc. and the Mirro Aluminum Co. He was an honorary member of the
Musicians Assn. Local 195 and played with various orchestras in the Manitwooc
area.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter; a step-daughter, a step-son (Private);
two brothers, Henry of Springfield, Ohio, and Edward of Manitowoc; a sister,
Mrs. James Bearnish, of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
