YOUNG MOTHER OF THREE TAKEN AFTER ILLNESS
Mrs. Joseph Rugowski, 39, and mother of three children, passed away at the Holy
Family hospital early this morning after a long illness of eleven weeks. Death
came as a relief from diabetes. Funeral services will be held from the home at
508 South Twenty-fifth street, tomorrow afternoon at two, the Rev. Weber
officiating, and interment will be made at Evergreen.
Mrs. Rugowski, who was Celpa Houghton before her marriage to Mr. Rugowski on
December 28, 1912, was born in the city October 10, 1888, and has lived here
all her life. Surviving is her husband and three children, Mildred, aged 11,
Donald, 9, and Earl, 7, and three brothers, Bert of Omaha, Neb., George and
Harry of this city and four sisters, Mrs. Ben Quandee and Mrs. Edgar Meister
of Chicago, and Mrs. John Behnke of Brillion and Mrs. Archie Wolfe of this
city. Her mother, Mrs. Idea Houghton, of this city, also survives.
