LEHIGH YOUNG MAN DIES AT WINTERSET FRI.
Arnold Rowley, Lehigh, young man died last Friday in the room of a hotel in Winterset where he had gone Thursday night, when he apparently became lost when on his way to Des Moines.
The young man was found dead on the floor of his room late in the afternoon Friday, after he did not appear during the day.
Arnold Rowley started Thursday to drive to Des Moines against the advice of his relatives. He had been ill for some time with diabetes, and intended to stay with an aunt and take treatments with a Des Moines physician, who had helped his aunt in treatments for the same malady.
Apparently young Rowley lost his way, and went to the Winterset hotel Thursday night, where he was found dead the next day.
Burial services were held from the Lehigh Church of Christ, of which the young man was a member, Monday afternoon, with Rev. J. R. Adams, pastor of the Nevada Church of Christ and former Lehigh minister, in charge. Interment was in the Lehigh cemetery.
Arnold Rowley was born in Lehigh and grew to manhood here. He was born April 25, 1909, and died Feb. 7, 1930 at the age of 21 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Jessie Linn Nov. 1928. To this union was born one daughter.
Deceased is survived by his wife and seven months old daughter, his mother, Mrs. J. Goodpaster and foster father, J. Goodpaster; three brothers, five sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
