DEATH COMES AFTER ILLNESS OF SIX MONTHS
After a long illness from insidious disease, Christ (sic) Rosland, 607 Buffalo
Street, died Wednesday afternoon at his home. The deceased was born in Norway
forty-five years ago and came to this country when a young man of twenty-four
taking up residence in this city where he made his home up to the time of his
death. He was a carpenter by trade and followed his occupation until six months
ago when his illness became so serious that he was forced to give up work. He
was married in 1909 to Miss Elizabeth Peterson of this city and besides his wife
is survived by three children, Agnes, Lilah and Elmer, an aged father in Norway
and five brothers, Abraham of Two Rivers and Ole, John, Halbor and Isak of
Norway.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the St. Paul's Lutheran
church at two o'clock the Rev. Espeseth officiating and the burial will be at
Evergreen.
