Elsie M. Roderweiss, 63, of 1901 Madison Street, Manitowoc, a former Kiel resident, died Sunday afternoon, October 21, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
She was born May 7, 1927 in Germany, daughter of the late Fred and Adele Steinback Roderweiss. She was a graduate of Kiel High School. She was employed at Lake to Lake in Kiel and Sheboygan for many years. She also worked at Great Lakes Tool and Die, the Calumet Homestead in New Holstein from 1972 to 1977, operated the former Elsie’s Fashion Center in Kiel. She moved to Manitowoc in 1983.
Survivors include two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death on one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor officiated. Burial was in Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
