Reuben Richards of this city, died of typhoid fever on Saturday morning last.
He was employed as Chief Engineer on his father's barge, The Rube Richards.
While at Escanaba two weeks ago he was taken sick and was brought home.
He continued to grow worse until death released him. He was a young man of
considerable force of character, industrious and enterprising. He was highly
thought of by all who knew him. His funeral took place on Sunday.
