BENJAMIN REINDLE
Benjamin (Whitey) Reindle, 67, who had been residing with a step-daughter,
Mrs. Austin Page, at Middletown, R.I. died Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Benjamin Reindle was born Dec. 31, 1901, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the
late John and Rose Prybl Reindle. He married Viola Rathsack in 1937 at
Menominee, Mich., and they located at Manitowoc where he was employed at
Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.
Mr. Reindle operated the Club Tavern on Memorial Dive, between Manitowoc and
Two Rivers, and was employed at Burger Boat Co., Inc., Manitowoc. Mrs. Reindle
preceded him in death Jan. 10, 1963. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Aerie
706.
Survivors include a son, Ardell, of Watsonville, Calif,; his step-daughter,
Mrs. Austin Page; a brother, John, of Grand Rapids, Mich., a sister, Mrs.
William Swokowski, of Manitowoc; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of
services Wednesday.
