EMILIE REIMERS
Mrs. Edmund J. Reimers, 87, of 616 Buffalo St., Manitowoc, died Thursday noon
after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home,
Manitowoc, the Rev. T. F. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Reimers, nee Emilie Schroeter, was born at Manitowoc July 19, 1877, daughter
of the late August and Wilhelmine Utech Schroeter. She was married Nov. 8, 1902,
at Manitowoc to Mr. Reimers and the couple always resided at Manitowoc. She was
a charter member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid.
Surviving are the husband, a son, Alton of Tomah, Wis., two daughters, Mrs.
Kenneth Hendrick of Manitowoc and Mrs. Del Rose of Seattle, Wash., a brother,
Fred of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Magnusson of Kenosha and Mrs. Alfred
Altman of Sheboygan and three grandchildren. A brother and three sisters preceded
her in death.
