Mrs. Alton Reimers, 52, of 721-A N. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Saturday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. D. L.
Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Ellen Donohue was born at Montello, Wis., Feb. 17, 1906, daughter
of the late Edward and Mary Diamond Donohue. She was married Sept. 14, 1946,
to Alton Reimers and the couple located at Manitowoc. She had been employed
for more than 30 years by the Manitowoc exchange of the Wisconsin Telephone
Co.
Surviving are the husband, two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Manthey, of Manitowoc
exchange of the Wisconsin Telephone Co.
Surviving are the husband, two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Manthey, of Manitowoc and
Mrs. Michael Tomchek, of Two Rivers and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
