Mrs Clarence Cheney
Estella C. Cheney, 83, Humboldt, died Friday morning, May 11, at the Pinecrest Nursing Home in Humboldt. Mrs. Cheney had been ill for several months.

She was born March 24, 1890, at Humboldt and had been a lifetime resident of the community.

She was married to Clarence W. Cheney June 30, 1908 in Iola. He died December 31, 1962.

Mrs. Cheney was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Humboldt.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Honeycutt and Mrs. Mary Clounch, both of Humboldt and Mrs. Imogene Adair, Denver; four sons, Harold Cheney, Kansas City, Kansas, Wayman Cheney, Pinebluff, Arkansas, Donald Cheney, Humboldt, and Ray Cheney, Chanute; a sister, Mrs. Lola Landrum, Denver, 29 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Two sons, Winfred Cheney and Roy Cheney, and a daughter, Mrs Juanita Smith, preceded their mother in death.

Funeral services will be announced later by the Price Funeral Home in Humboldt.
