Mrs. Frank Rappel, 59, of 940 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Christian Science rites with Mrs. W. G. Simerson as the reader will be at 2
p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Juliet Paulus was born at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Herman G.
and Katherine Engeldinger Paulus, May 10, 1896, and was married at Clarks Mills
to Frank Rappel May 11, 1920. Mr. Rappel operates a food market at 94? No. 14th
St., Manitowoc. Mrs. Rappel was a member of the auxiliary of the Manitowoc Aerie
of Eagles.
Surviving in addition to the husband are two brothers, William of Pincher Park,
Fla., and Norman of Two Rivers; and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Johannes of Milwaukee,
Miss Esther Paulus of Los Angeles and Miss Mira Paulus and Mrs. Thelma Hansen of
Manitowoc. A daughter, Edith, died in 1940.
