MRS. E. RAEUBER PASSES AWAY AT HOME TODAY
Mother of Architect Wm. Raeuber Dies After Several Months' Illness (photo)
Mrs. E.A. Raeuber, 81, mother of Architect Wm. J. Raeuber, and who with her
husband, celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary a few years ago, passed
away this morning at the family home, 1415 Washington street. The deceased
has been in failing health for the past several months.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed, being held up pending word from
the children residing in the far west. Announcement of the same will be made
tomorrow.
Life Resident of City
The deceased, whose maiden name was Henrietta(sic) Schultz, was born in Germany
and came to America with her parents when a small child. The family located at
Milwaukee and she was married there to E.A. Raeuber sixty-six years ago. Mr. and
Mrs. Raeuber have been pioneer residents of Manitowoc for half a century.
Besides the husband one daughter, Mrs. Carl Stratman of Milwaukee, and four sons,
William of this city, Edward of Milwaukee, John C. of Hollywood, Calif. and Fred
of Exnard, Calif., survive.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Raeuber Saturday
Funeral services for the late Mrs. E.A. Raeuber, pioneer Manitowoc resident who
passed away at the family home on Washington street Wednesday morning, will be
held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the Frazier mortuary at Ninth and
Chicago streets. Rev. Kuhn will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.
