Pulaski, Va, April 4. - George E Purvis was found dead sitting in a chair in his room at Maple Shade Inn this morning at 10:30 o'clock.
Mr Purvis was the husband of Mrs S E Purvis, the proprietress of the inn. He seemed in usual good health this morning, ate his breakfast, chatted a while and went to his room. Shortly afterward he was found dead, the trouble being heart failure.
He was 72 years old. He leaves a widow and several children.
