Christina "Dina" Psaras, 67, a native of Alexandria, Egypt, and a resident of Annapolis, Md. and Fort Myer Beach, Fla., died of ovarian cancer Feb. 20, 2008 in her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Psaras was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Alexandria, Egypt to Helen Digenis of Athens, Greece, and the late Constantine Digenis. She graduated from Alexandria Greek High School in Egypt, and she earned a degree in education from English Girls College.
She lived in Arnold for 22 years before moving to Annapolis eight years ago.
She worked for Annapolis Federal Bank, where she was an assistant vice president from 1980 to 1994.
She was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church and St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples, Fla.
She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She enjoyed international travel and Greek music, and was a longtime supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, John Psaras; one son, Michael Psaras of Annapolis; and two brothers, George and Sophocles Digenis of Athens.
