Robert M. Pritchard, 57, of 37 E. Water St., Kiel, died Thursday, apparently of a heart attack.

He was born July 2, 1927, in Rio (Columbia Co.) a son of the late Fred and Emma Korn Pritchard. He was a 1945 graduate of Kiel High School and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His marriage to Joanne Arnold took place Sept. 17, 1949 in Kiel. He was owner and
operator of Fred Pritchard and Son Inc. heating company. A member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kiel, he was a past trustee. He belonged to Kasper-Bechley-Wilkens American Legion Post 99, the Kiel Chamber of Commerce, and was a charter member of the Kiel Kiwanis Club.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Nicholas (Susan) Ivey of London, England, Mrs. Timothy (Ann) Neuman of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and Amy Beth Pritchard of Madison; two sons, Robert Charles and Todd, both of Kiel; three grandsons; and a brother, Fred, of Milwaukee. Three sisters preceded him in death.

The funeral will be Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Kiel. The Rev. Joe V. Anderson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery in Rockville.
